10 years of the franchise Risk of Rain are fast approaching and for this occasion, Gearbox has planned some festivities. Thus, on November 8, 2023, a livestream entitled The Festival of Gup. The livestream promises to be filled with announcements and is already setting itself up as the biggest event in the franchise. It will be held on the official Gearbox Twitch channel on Wednesday, November 8 from 7:30 p.m. French time.
In parallel with this small festival, Gearbox has also planned the release of two titles. So players will be able to discover
Risk of Rain Returnscomplete remake of Risk of Rain 1. This remake will bring its share of additional features compared to the original game as well as improved graphics and new music from composer Chris Christodoulou.

Finally, still on November 8, Risk of Rain 2: Survivors of the Void, the game’s first DLC expansion, will arrive on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. The expansion marks the arrival of two survivors, The Sniper And The Void Demon, as well as the new Simulacrum game mode. It also comes with a slight overhaul of the base game, some bug fixes and above all an improvement in performance.
