The Toyota brand is forced and forced to recall its bZ4X to the garage.
The vehicles are in fact affected by a problem that can lead to… the stalling of a wheel!
The Toyota bZ4X (already!) back in the garage
Toyota’s new electric SUV, baptized bZ4X, recently arrived at its first owners. An SUV developed via the e-TNGA platform, which was generally the joy of drivers, until a recent recall campaign launched by Toyota. Indeed, the approximately 3,000 bZ4X (approximately) already produced must urgently be returned to the factory.
In question: nuts that would be likely to loosen abnormally and prematurely, which could lead to… the stalling of a wheel. Information that has been confirmed by a spokesperson for Toyota, and which imposes a particularly early recall on the Japanese brand, in addition to doing very bad publicity to the barely launched bZ4X.
The manufacturer has indicated that 2,200 vehicles are affected in Europe, 260 in the United States, 110 in Japan and around twenty in Canada. Note that most of the affected vehicles have not yet been delivered to customers. Toyota advises owners not to drive their vehicle until the investigation is complete and the official recall is issued.
