Warning, this article contains many spoilers for the Rivière-Perdue series. If you don’t want to know anything, don’t read what follows!

This evening, TF1 is broadcasting the first two episodes of its brand new police series Rivière-Perdue.

Adapted from the Spanish series La Caza. Monteperdido, Rivière-Perdue takes us to the heart of a high-tension police investigation.

When they disappeared on the way to school, Anna and Lucie were only 11 years old. So, when Anna reappears alone five years later in Rivière-Perdue, Lieutenant Alix Berg (Barbara Cabrita) and Commander Balthus (Jean-Michel Tinivelli) are sent there to investigate. With Captain Victor Ferrer (Nicolas Gob), they will embark on a real race against time to find Lucie, still missing.

Filmed in Vallespir, in the heart of the natural settings of the Pyrénées-Orientales, this high-tension thriller used numerous spectacular scenes.

A spectacular helicopter scene

The first episode of Rivière-Perdue begins on a winding road in the Pyrenees on which a spectacular car accident occurs. It was in this vehicle that Anna, a young teenager who had disappeared five years earlier, was found.

Certain that Lucie is also in the car, Alix Berg and Victor Ferrer will do everything possible to find her. The problem ? The car left the road and is now at the foot of a cliff that is difficult to access on foot.

As it is also impossible to winch the vehicle, Alix and Victor then use a helicopter and then rappel into the void before throwing themselves into the river. It was only after swimming for a few minutes in the water that the two investigators found the vehicle.

Faced with such a spectacular scene, we inevitably wonder if Barbara Cabrita and Nicolas Gob, the interpreters of Alix and Victor, carried out this stunt.

Did Barbara Cabrita and Nicolas Gob perform the helicopter stunt?

The answer may surprise you, but the two actors were not dubbed for this scene!

There was a real sporting challenge on this series since we did the majority of our stunts ourselves” Barbara Cabrita explained to us during an interview before specifying, “We did all the helicopter scenes. It was great. We were like children with Nicolas Gob.

Even if they followed a “very intense physical training“, the actress told us that the filming had been difficult.

There were some small injuries in the river. In any case, we can’t do otherwise. It’s really part of the game. That’s also why we do this job. If you don’t want to break anything or get hurt, you take a liner. Which was not the case here.

That’s what it’s called giving of oneself! Enough to give even more weight to the performance of the actors of Rivière-Perdue.
