Road blocked – Mikl-Leiter: Climate stickers “congratulated” people on their 60th birthday

In the run-up to the celebration of the 60th birthday of Lower Austria’s Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner (ÖVP), climate activists caused a road blockade in Klosterneuburg (Tulln district) on Monday morning. According to police spokesman Stefan Loidl, five people from the last generation partially stuck themselves in place (see video above).

Please listen to the Climate Council!” wrote the Last Generation on : Warmer air stores more water vapor, which is why extreme weather events will increase.”However, the effectiveness of the protest remained manageable. A diversion was set up and the traffic volume was low, the police said. They were alerted around 8:45 a.m. The officers who were deployed initially left the activists glued.
