A burglar robbed! On February 25, a few hours before the 47th Cesar ceremony during which Omar Sy went on stage, the filming of his Netflix series, Lupin, saw the irruption of about twenty hooded people firing fireworks mortars in order to steal equipment.

Entrusted to the Hauts-de-Seine departmental judicial police service, the investigation into the incident went quickly, very quickly. Indeed, according to information from RTL, seven people suspected of having participated in this impressive robbery were indicted on March 11 by a Nanterre investigating judge for theft in an organized gang with a weapon and concealment. Three suspects were imprisoned and others were placed under judicial control.

Most of the assailants were known to the police for theft, violence or drug trafficking and, according to The Parisian, they are mostly minors. The youngest would be 13 years old.

If the attack had caused no injuries, the robbers had left the shooting with “cinema lenses, screens, batteries, tools, but also personal effects such as telephones and wallets. In total, 200,000 euros in damage”, as our colleagues from RTL remind us. Some of this stolen equipment was found during searches.
