Paris / Villejuif, May 23, 2022

ROCHE BOBOIS SA (ISIN: FR0013344173 – Mnemonic: RBO), a benchmark player in high-end furniture, has set up impact financing of €30 million with LCL, its benchmark bank.

This operation

enables ROCHE BOBOIS to align its financial strategy with its commitments in terms of sustainable development

. Three key ambitions have thus been integrated for the Roche Bobois brand by 2026:

  • The eco-design of 100% of its new products,

  • A 100% supply of sustainable wood (recycled or FSC or PEFC certified),

  • A commitment to a -25% reduction trajectory in the intensity of greenhouse gas emissions from all its stores, warehouses and administrative offices.

With this loan, Roche Bobois intends to refinance €10 million of existing loans with LCL and finance €20 million of its investment needs for the next 5 years.

This initiative is part of the CSR policy of the ROCHE BOBOIS Group, an approach initiated in 2019

and articulated around 3 main axes:

  • Consolidate the Group’s position as an international reference in the production and distribution of environmentally friendly furnishing products,

  • Invest in a lasting and responsible relationship with employees,

  • Combine family and sustainable vision of the company with balanced relationships with partners and constant quest for innovation.

With the support of its Sustainable Finance team dedicated to its mid-cap clients, LCL, the bank of one in two ETIs, is delighted to have been able to advise and support ROCHE BOBOIS in this committed approach to sustainable finance.
