JRUSALEM (Reuters) – Israeli fighter jets carried out strikes in the Gaza Strip on Saturday in retaliation for rocket fire, hours after the departure of US President Joe Biden.
The Israeli army said the strike hit a rocket production site in the central Gaza Strip. Witnesses said the site was a training camp.
Warning sirens sounded twice on Saturday in southern Israel.
One rocket was destroyed and three others hit deserted places, the Israeli army said.
