Thursday morning, the residents of Rothneusiedl were amazed when a woman rode a horse towards them at around 6 a.m. – on the way to work. Because the presenters of the kronehit morning show agree: “We leave the car at home”. After the colleagues had already come to the editorial office on foot or by bike, Anita Ableidinger decided on a very special “means of transport”: her mare Escada. And since a long ride also requires refreshment, the duo wanted to make a detour to the drive-in of a popular fast-food chain. “Unfortunately we had to skip that because Escada had been confronted with traffic for too long,” laughs the moderator. One thing is clear: she won the challenge against her colleagues by a mile. Anyone can get to work by bike or on foot. A mare is a different caliber.
