Juso boss fears cold deaths in Belarus’ forests
According to Juso boss Rosenthal, up to 6,000 people are waiting in the border area between Poland and Belarus. She calls on the SPD-led federal government to bring the migrants to Germany before they freeze to death in the worst case.
The head of the Jusos, Jessica Rosenthal, reiterated her call for refugees to be accepted from the Belarusian border and pointed out the grave circumstances on site. Rosenthal described the partly radical demonstrators as a “small minority” who “really got lost in absolute conspiracy theories”. Society must stick together and not allow itself to be divided. The SPD politician also said: “Everyone who marches with these radicals, they mean something about it somewhere and they actually have to differentiate themselves from them.”
