Rothosen striker – Ramon Tanque will be sorely missed in Dornbirn

FC Dornbirn has lacked offensive power so far this season. It doesn’t help at all that center forward Ramon Tanque has been out injured for several games now. But the Brazilian could soon make a comeback.

Dornbirn center forward Ramon Tanque has missed four games since his muscle fiber tear at the beginning of October, and the Brazilian is sorely missing from the Rothosen’s offensive department. Most recently, the Messestadt team lost 6-0 to newly promoted Leoben without being able to provide much impetus. They are in the menacing second-to-last place in the table. “That’s why we really hope that we can get Ramon for the last two games this year,” says FCD sports director Eric Orie. “It’s now the fifth week since the injury happened. He has made good progress recently.” Tanque will not yet be there in the test during the international break – which is very convenient for Dornbirn in the current situation – against Austria Lustenau on Thursday. But in the following two league home games. “He should be able to intervene for the first time against Ried and hopefully play against Liefering,” says Orie.
