Roubaix: the lifeless body of a 13-year-old girl discovered in a squatted apartment

An autopsy should be performed soon to determine the causes of death, which remain, at this stage, an enigma.

The lifeless body of a 13-and-a-half-year-old girl was discovered on Wednesday, December 22 in an apartment in Roubaix (North), we learned this Thursday, December 23 from the Lille prosecutor’s office, confirming information from The voice of the North.

It was the police who made the macabre discovery in this obviously squatted accommodation, rue de la Barbe d’Or. They had been called urgently in the morning by one of the squatters. The officers could only note the death of the young teenager, who in all likelihood had been living in the squat for a few days. In the apartment was also another minor as well as a young woman of 20 years.

An investigation was opened in search of the causes of death, the latter being still unknown at this stage of the investigations. An autopsy should also take place in the next few days.
