A preliminary hearing in the case of Prince Harry, 37, v UK Home Office was held at the Royal Courts of Justice in London on Friday 18 February 2022. The royal demands that the state pay for security measures during the Sussex family’s visit to England. A privilege that Harry and Meghan have not been entitled to since 2021. At the hearing, Prince Harry had his demands explained through his lawyer, Shaheed Fatima QC.
“The point of this lawsuit is that the plaintiff [Prinz Harry, Anm. d. Red.] doesn’t feel safe being in the UK,” said the Prince’s legal counsel. She also stressed Harry’s fervent desire to return: “It goes without saying that he wants to come back to see family and friends and to continue to support the charities close to his heart.” Prince Harry insisted on the right to police protection because he “inherited a security hazard from birth,” according to a previous statement.
Lawyer Shaheed Fatima QC asserted that the Royal is particularly concerned with returning to his beloved homeland. “Above all, this is his home and will always be,” the 37-year-old’s lawyer quoted “Express” as saying. Royal experts suspect that Harry will not return to London for the time being until there is a decision in the open legal dispute.
Prince Harry faces police questioning over Prince Charles donation scandal

Prince Edward treats himself to a family ski vacation

Prince Charles is said to have banned Prince Andrew from Windsor Castle
