After good ratings for the first “RTL high diving” in the summer, the broadcaster is showing a second edition with many celebrities in February.

The first “RTL Trumsprung” was a complete success in the summer of 2022. Now the broadcaster announces on February 10th from 8:15 p.m. (also on RTL+) to show a second edition of the sports event live from Berlin. A single and a synchronous competition are planned, for which the participating celebrities will be trained by coaches in advance.

RTL has already announced the first of a total of 20 celebrities who should take the plunge. According to the current status, the former gymnast and Olympic champion Fabian Hambüchen (35), “Let’s Dance” winner René Casselly (26), Lucy Diakovska (46) and Nadja Benaissa (40) from the No Angels, reality star Calvin Kleinen will compete (30), YouTuber Joelina Mennen and “Princess Charming” Irina hose.

Successful comeback for Raab format

The program is moderated by the “Ninja Warrior” trio Jan Köppen (39), Laura Wontorra (33) and Frank Buschmann (58). The event is produced by Stefan Raabs (56) Raab TV.

Around 2.1 million viewers were there when the “RTL high diving” premiered on June 3rd. In a way, it was the comeback for Raab’s “TV total Turmsprung”, in which well-known faces jumped into the water on ProSieben from 2004 to 2015. In the target group of 14 to 49 year olds, RTL reached 21.6 percent of the TV audience. The first edition was won by former gymnast Philipp Boy (35) in singles and the “Ninja Warrior Germany” athletes Stefanie Edelmann and Moritz Hans (26) in synchronized jumping.
