Oyonnax ends the year in style. The Ain club defeated the Paloise Section on Friday evening at the Mathon stadium, opening the 11th day of Top 14 (34-13). Solid in the first half against the opposing offensives, Joe El Abd’s men made the difference in the second half by taking advantage of the opposing team’s lack of discipline. A week after his heavy defeat suffered on the lawn of Racing 92 (66-10), Oyonnax recovered well to end a series of four consecutive losses in the championship. The Oyomen are in 10th place in the ranking. For its part, Pau misses the opportunity to become leader.
