Charlie Cassang, who ended his contract in June, has extended his lease with Oyonnax Rugby for three seasons, until 2025.
Arrived in Haut-Bugey in the summer of 2020, from Clermont, he established himself as the number 1 scrum half of the “Rouge et Noir”, he who started more than 75% of his team’s matches in the starting XV.
Charlie Cassang, 26, is even an excellent finisher, accumulating 10 tries in 44 Pro D2 matches with Oyonnax Rugby. He is a major craftsman of the season for the Haut-Bugiste club, still second in the standings, after his enhanced victory against Grenoble (38-10) on Friday.
