The cities which hosted Rugby World Cup matches such as Nantes, Nice, Lyon and Saint-Etienne, benefited from “good attendance” in hotels and para-hotels, even if the general attendance across the entire sector has “decreased slightly” compared to the previous year, according to the Alliance France Tourisme (AFT).
