A long, long time agoE3 2014, Deep Silver and Yager Entertainment unveiled Dead Island 2, new action game with living dead, which this time attack the West Coast of the United States. Since then, it’s been hell, the development has passed into the hands of Sumo Digitaleventually replaced by Dambuster Studios (Homefront: The Revolution).
The game is very quiet, but apparently, internally, things run pretty smoothly. Tom Henderson, insider remember well informed, thus shared a video on Youtube in which he asserts that Dead Island 2 is said to be in a well advanced stateand it could be formalized again in good and due form very soon, with a video of gameplay. Even better, its release is scheduled for the end of 2022if the developers do not encounter any problems by then of course. L’insider even reveals the beginning of the game’s story, beware of the spoiler “You’re on a plane, and there’s an outbreak of zombies on the plane… Eventually the plane crashes into Hollywood, you survive, and your mission is to survive once you’re on the ground.”
Here’s something to give fans hopeeven if THQ Nordic (owner of Deep Silver) has not made anything official yet. On his side, Techlanddeveloper of the first Dead Island and spin off Dead Island: Riptidecontinued to make games with zombies, he just released Dying Light 2 Stay Humansold €54.99 on Amazon.
