Last month, an astonishing rumor emerged on the Web, that of a release of Hi-Fi RUSH on Nintendo Switch, action and rhythm game developed by Tango Gameworkswhich is therefore part of Xbox Game Studios. It was then only noise from the corridors relayed by insiders, without concrete proof. This has now gone further since the publication of the Update #7 the last days. Among the new features, we find commemorative t-shirtsfour being common to the different platforms, with a fifth respectively exclusive to Xbox Series Steam et al’Epic Games Store. So far, nothing unusual.
Except that several dataminers dug through the update files and found two unused designs, which suggest that Hi-Fi RUSH could soon be announced on both Switch and PS5. Wario64 perfectly summarized these findings, referring in particular to The source of the visual below.
We therefore find the illustrations already included, the one intended for players Xbox on a green background referring to the fact that the game was shadow dropped last year upon its announcement, while for theEGSthe term Unreal comes to call back the engineEpic Gamesand the symbol of reviews positive is used to Steam.
The last two are on a blue and red background, the colors of Nintendo And PlayStation, and it didn’t take much more to let fans think about a release with the competition. Moreover, T-shirt I’m here baby!which is a replica of the main character Chaishows us the latter sporting a pose resembling that of Cloud from Final Fantasy VII. As for the last one, the Switch being a portable console, the message Rock out! Aniwhere couldn’t be better found.
Obviously this doesn’t prove anything.because if these visuals are real (Tom Warren of The Verge asserts in fact they are), the developers could very well have knowingly placed them there following the rumors at the beginning of January just so that it would get people talking about the game.
While waiting for a possible announcement of Hi-Fi RUSH on new platforms or a press release Xbox to refute this, you can buy it for €26.99 at the house of Gamesplanet.
