MOSCOW (Reuters) – A Russian court on Tuesday remanded Daria Trepova until June 2 on suspicion of involvement in the murder of blogger Vladlen Tatarski, the RIA news agency reported. Novosti, quoting a reporter present in the courtroom.

Vladlen Tatarski, real name Maxime Fomin and originally from Donbass in eastern Ukraine, was a strong supporter of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. He was killed Sunday by a bomb explosion in a cafe in St. Petersburg.

The Russian Investigative Committee has indicted Daria Trepova for having committed “an act of terrorism in an organized gang which intentionally caused death”.

He claims that the young woman acted on the orders of a group working on behalf of Ukraine.
