Russia-Ukraine talks make little progress on essentials, says Moscow

March 25 (Reuters) – Russia and Ukraine are closing in on an agreement on secondary issues in their talks but progress remains limited on the main issues, Russian negotiator Vladimir Medinsky said on Friday, quoted by the agency. Russian press Interfax.

“The discussions continued all week, from Monday to Friday in the form of videoconferences, and will continue tomorrow (Saturday-Editor’s note)”, said Vladimir Medinski, quoted by Interfax.

“On the secondary points, the positions converge. However, with regard to the main political issues, we are treading water,” he added.
