Russia’s economy under pressure from sanctions

New brands are emerging in Russia. However, this is less an enrichment of the market than the consequence of the withdrawal of international companies. The Western sanctions cast their shadows – the Russians feel their consequences every day.

In Russia, a new phase of war-related economic upheavals in the corporate world has begun. Immediately after the start of the war, international companies announced in rapid succession that they wanted to leave Russia, and their operations in the country were often temporarily suspended. Hardly a day goes by without news of new owners of companies that were previously part of global brands and corporations.
