FRANKFURT, Aug 11 (Reuters) – RWE said on Thursday it increased its power generation from renewables by 20% in the first half of 2022, compared to the first half of 2021, thanks to increased capacity and better wind conditions.
“We are investing in onshore and offshore wind, solar, batteries and in accelerating the hydrogen economy. All this is necessary and urgent in order to make the energy supply more independent and neutral on the climate plan,” said CEO Markus Krebber.
