Margot Robbie plays Barbie, Ryan Gosling her Ken. Now the first picture has appeared that shows him in his role.
Peroxide blonde, washboard abs and tanned: This is how Ryan Gosling (41) presents himself in a picture that shows him as Barbie’s partner Ken. It’s the first recordingwhich stars Gosling in the role he is reprising in a “Barbie” movie announced for summer 2023.
Perhaps to rule out a possible risk of confusion, “Ken” is written on his underpants again. The character appears to be standing in front of a pink mansion and may be about to get in the car with Barbie.
Margot Robbie plays Barbie
Already in April was a picture by Margot Robbie (31), who embodies the iconic doll in the “Barbie” film. This showed the Australian actress at the wheel of a pink convertible.
In addition to the two stars, many other well-known faces will appear in the live-action adaptation, which is based on a screenplay by Greta Gerwig (38) and her partner Noah Baumbach (52). Gerwig also directs. Among them are Will Ferrell (54), Kate McKinnon (38), America Ferrera (38), Issa Rae (37), Michael Cera (34) and Simu Liu (33). The theatrical release of the “Barbie” film is currently scheduled for July 2023.
