Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds have been married for nine years. Now he was chatting from the sewing box: He once begged her for sex.
Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds (44) has never spoken so openly about the initial phase of his relationship with colleague Blake Lively (33). The two have been married since 2012 and have three daughters together, but avoid talking about private or even intimate matters in public.
Now the Canadian took part in the podcast “SmartLess” but no ministry at all. He chatted almost uninhibited about the getting to know each other during and after the shooting of the joint film “Green Lantern”.
The train ride to Boston changed everything
At first both were just friends and also in different relationships. Nevertheless, they met regularly – also with the respective partners: “We hung out together and somehow we stayed in contact.” But a trip to Boston together was the turning point, says Reynolds. Lively had traveled there and he wanted to accompany her at short notice: “We took the train and drove together. I begged her to sleep with me.”
From this something “fairytale-like” developed and just a week later Reynolds told her that he wanted to buy a house with her: “And we did that too.” A year later, the two were officially husband and wife, around three years later parents for the first time.
