Ryan Reynolds also waives family visits for Christmas. It's not easy for him. "It sucks," he writes on Instagram.

"It sucks!" Actor Ryan Reynolds (44, "Green Lantern") does not mince words about the corona measures for Christmas. In his Instagram story, the husband of Blake Lively (33, "Gossip Girl") and father of three daughters wrote on the weekend: "My children won't see their grandparents this Christmas. Or friends or aunts and uncles."

Because of the rising corona numbers, the family has decided to remain in quarantine on the holidays and to adhere to the recommendations of the US health authority. The decision doesn't seem to have been easy for the Canadian.

"I take off my hat"

He would be particularly sorry for his three daughters James (6), Inez (4) and Betty (14 months). "I take my hat off to everyone who does it". In the spring, the couple had supported aid programs for those in need with a million donation.

Family comes first for Reynolds. "If anything in my life gets crazy or scary, they are the first people I would rely on," he said in an interview with Access Hollywood.
