AMD relies heavily on the success of Starfield to sell a maximum of processors and of graphics cards.

We’ve been talking about it for a few days, the partnership involving Ryzen and Radeon in gaming Starfield is now a reality and AMD takes the opportunity to give us some information about the title of Bethesda.

The complete AMD-based PCs concerned

Mentioned for a short week, the partnership between AMD and Bethesda has therefore been effective since yesterday as it is possible to see on the official site of the first with the confirmation of the products concerned.

As we specified at the beginning of the week, it is possible to receive a version of Starfield for the acquisition of a Ryzen processor or a Radeon graphics card. Two offers are thus proposed depending on whether we turn to the premium edition or the standard edition of the game.

In the first case, it’s a Ryzen 9 79×0 or a Radeon RX 67xx, 68xx, 69xx, 79xx that qualifies for Bethesda’s gift. A little less complete, the standard version of Starfield is offered for the purchase of a Ryzen 5 56xx or Ryzen 7 7xxx, but also the purchase of a Radeon RX 66xx or 76xx.

New important precision, the offer does not only concern the purchase of spare parts. Indeed, any complete configuration based on the elements mentioned also entitles you to Starfield. The recovery of the code is done via this page set up by AMD.

As news never goes alone, AMD took advantage of the launch of its gift offer to clarify a little the hardware requirements of what undoubtedly constitutes the event game for this September 2023 back-to-school season.

If it is also planned on Xbox Series, it is the PC version that occupies us today with detailed specifications that come in addition to what was already displayed on the Steam page of the game. Note however that it is here question of three configurations depending on whether you plan to play at 1080p, 1440p or 2160p.

In the first case, nothing extraordinary, a Ryzen 5 7600 and a Radeon RX 7600 are mentioned by AMD. For 1440p, aim higher with a Ryzen 7 7700X and Radeon RX 6800. Finally, 4K gaming requires at least a Ryzen 7 7800X3D and Radeon RX 7900XT. Note that AMD also associates a type of chipset with each of the three configurations with, in order, A620, B650 and X670 for 4K gaming.

Finally, remember that the gift offer Starfield from AMD runs until October 28, 2023: after this date, it will no longer be possible to validate the key sent by AMD.
