Couple divorces after 13 years of marriage

Sacha Baron Cohen dominates the headlines. This time not because of the argument with Rebel Wilson – but the divorce from Isla Fisher.
Comedian and actor Sacha Baron Cohen, 52, is making headlines again: After his media-played exchange of blows with Rebel Wilson, 44, he and his wife Isla Fisher, 48, announced that they had filed for divorce together. They each announced the news of the end of their marriage after over 13 years via Instagram stories on their official accounts on the social media platform.
The Hollywood stars write about a picture that shows them together in a tennis couple’s look: “After a long tennis match that lasted more than 20 years, we are finally putting down our rackets.” They then reveal that the joint decision to “end our marriage” along with the divorce filing had already been made last year.
They have three children together
The statement continued: “Our privacy has always been our primary concern and we have quietly worked through this change. We are forever connected by our devotion and love for our children. We greatly appreciate you “Respects our family’s desire for privacy.”
Sacha Baron Cohen had the “The Incredibles” star according to The Hollywood Reporter met at a party in Australia in 2000 and immediately hit it off. The two became a couple and got engaged in 2004, and the first of three children together was born in 2007. Another three years later, the wedding bells finally rang.
The buzz surrounding the comedian continues
Since the divorce had already been filed in 2023, the current turmoil surrounding Sacha Baron Cohen probably has nothing to do with the decision. Actress Rebel Wilson, who worked with Cohen in “The Spy and His Brother” in 2016, raises her voice in her latest published autobiography “Rebel Rising” made serious allegations against the star. On the set of the comedy, he bullied her several times and forced her to “take off her clothes.” He also suddenly pulled down his pants and allegedly said: “Rebel, can you stick your finger in my butt?”
Cohen immediately and vehemently denied the allegations through his spokesman told “TMZ”.: “While we understand the importance of freedom of expression, these demonstrably false claims are directly refuted by extensive, detailed evidence. This includes contemporary documents, film footage and eyewitness accounts from those before, during and after the production of ‘The spy and his brother’ were present.”
