(CercleFinance.com) – Safe announces that the Paris Court of Appeal ruled in its favor in the lawsuit between it and the companies Neo Medical (Switzerland) and Neo Medical (France), on the occasion of the judgment rendered on January 26.
As a reminder, Safe had taken Neo Medical before the Paris Judicial Court for infringement of its French patent FR 2 990 840 (the patent), unfair and parasitic competition in 2017.
By judgment of May 28, 2021, the Paris Judicial Court convicted Neo Medical for infringement of the Safe patent. The judgment of the Court of Appeal therefore confirmed the judgment of the Paris Judicial Court.
The Neo Medical companies are ordered to pay Safe the sum of 50,000 euros under article 700 of the code of civil procedure while the two parties will amicably determine the damage suffered by Safe – and failing that will refer the matter to the Court Judicial to determine the damage.
