(Boursier.com) — At the Singapore Air Show which will last until February 25, Saffron Electrical & Power and Malaysia Airlines Berhad (MAB) have signed an exclusive maintenance contract on the electrical harnesses fitted to their CFM56-7B engines, for a period of 3 years.
MAB will benefit from repair services with optimized turnaround times and extended warranty coverage, as well as exchange support for these harnesses. This agreement will enable Malaysia Airlines to increase its activities and competitiveness.
This contract covers more than 40 Boeing 737s from the company’s fleet.
