(Boursier.com) — Safran Nacelles and Sky Airline have signed a services contract for the fleet made up of Airbus A320neo, equipped with CFM International LEAP-1A engines. With this agreement, Sky Airline has access to a shared stock of large nacelle components at any time, ensuring the necessary materials are available to respond quickly to any in-service event. In addition, the nacelles will be maintained and repaired at the Safran Nacelles Services Americas MRO station in Indianapolis, United States. Finally, Sky Airline will benefit from the expertise and know-how of Saffronthe designer and manufacturer (OEM) of the A320neo nacelle, for the development of repair solutions and the training of its maintenance operators.

Remember that CFM International is a 50/50 joint company between Safran Aircraft Engines and GE Aerospace.
