(CercleFinance.com) – Saint-Gobain announces that it has canceled 7,577,049 treasury shares purchased on the market.
At the end of this operation, the total number of shares making up the capital amounts to 506 million shares and the number of securities in circulation to 503 million shares, compared to 511 million at the end of December 2022.
An amount of 496 million euros has been allocated by the Group to the repurchase of its own shares in 2023 to date (net of transactions linked to employee shareholding).
With more than 1.5 billion euros in share buybacks carried out since 2021, the Group is ahead of the buyback objective of 2 billion euros over 5 years (2021-2025).
