(CercleFinance.com) – Saint-Gobain has signed an agreement for the sale of COVIPOR, its glass processing business in Portugal, to PNI Portugal & Permanente.
COVIPOR generated a turnover of around 20 million euros in 2022 and employs around 100 people at its two sites in the Porto region.
The closing of the transaction is expected to take place during the third quarter of 2023.
“This operation is part of the continuation of the strategy to optimize the Group’s profile, in line with the objectives of the ‘Grow & Impact’ plan”, indicates the management.
