Saint-Gobain: will invest $235 million in a US factory


(CercleFinance.com) – Saint-Gobain North America has announced its intention to invest $235 million (around €215 million) over the next two years to expand and modernize its CertainTeed gypsum plant in Palatka, Florida.

This investment will double the plant’s production capacity and improve its energy consumption.

The Palatka site is one of the largest gypsum mills in the southeastern United States. It is strategically located in the heart of one of the most dynamic regions of the country.

‘This new production line, which will start in the second half of 2025, will benefit from state-of-the-art automation equipment and technologies to reduce energy consumption’ indicates the group.
