The Shark IZ251EUT stick vacuum cleaner goes under €200 at Fnac.com, a drop of around 53% on the usual price. This is currently our best value for money for small budgets.
Shark returns in our comparison with the IZ251EUT, a less atypical model than the ICZ260EUT, but still equipped with the Anti Hair Wrap two-brush suction head. The newcomer also benefits from an articulated suction tube.

- Convenience of use
- Suction
- Interview
- Autonomy
- Noise
Just like the Shark ICZ160EUT, the IZ251EUT is a stick vacuum cleaner packed with relevant tips that make it easier to get started; the articulated handle, for example, does its job perfectly during vacuuming, or to save storage space. Good point, these little extra things have no negative influence on the suction performance of a model that behaves very well on fine carpet and hard floors. Certainly not everything is perfect and we would have appreciated a more precise autonomy indicator than a trio of diodes, as well as a slightly lighter suction head. But the IZ251EUT is a very good price/performance ratio.
Strong points
- Formidable on fine carpet and hard floors.
- Perfect filtration.
- Easy to store by folding the suction tube.
Weak points
- Suction head a bit heavy.
- Autonomy indicator not precise enough.
- Impossible to completely disassemble the collector.
- No storage base provided.

Tornado TOP5-21TG

For a first try, Tornado hits hard and the TOP5-21TG achieves almost a faultless result. The faults that we have been able to identify here and there (the slightly “cheap” wall base, the absence of a remaining charge indicator or a collector that could have been more hygienic) in no way detract from a very good general impression. The TOP5-21TG is quite usable on all surfaces – with a slight downside on high-pile carpets however – it benefits from perfect filtration and is very easy to maintain; a real success and a pleasant surprise!
