Sales / Good deal – The Ninja Air Fryer MAX AF160EU “5 stars” oil-free fryer at €99.99

Distributed in France recently, the Ninja brand hopes to shake up the market for small kitchen appliances and in particular that of oil-free fryers with three models – excluding pressure cookers, including the AF300EU, and the AF160EU, or Air Fryer MAX.

The Air Fryer MAX is certainly not lacking in qualities. Easy to master with its complete control panel, it is also very quick to heat up and offers a wider temperature range than most of its competitors, going up to 240°C… and even a little more besides. The Air Fryer MAX has a tendency to exceed the temperatures required for ignition, requiring preheating in the process, or even adapting the temperatures of the recipes. We have seen simpler, and we also regret that its tank is a little narrow. Small flaws that do not prevent it from positioning itself in front of the AirFryer XXL HD9860/90, the best rated oil-free fryer in our comparison.

Ninja’s most affordable air fryer is surprisingly the best performing. The required temperatures are quickly reached and generally well respected. And if the Air Fryer (AF100EU) obviously offers a little less functionality than its big sisters with a wider temperature range, its “Dehydrate” function is an interesting asset compared to a Proscenic T21 offering, for a similar price, options certainly more numerous, but a little “gadgets”. Only the capacity of the tank finally appears as a real obstacle, which should however only stop large families.
