Sales / Winter sales 2024 – The Amazon Eero Pro 6E Wifi repeater 1 “5 star” unit at €214.99 (-20%)

The Eero Pro 6E is the first 6E wifi compatible mesh system at Amazon. Simple update of the Eero Pro 6 released last year, the manufacturer added the 6 GHz frequency band to free itself from the very congested 5 GHz band, and a 2.5G Ethernet port in the air of the time.

The Amazon Eero Pro 6E retains all the qualities of the previous generation, however adding the disadvantages linked to the youth of wifi 6E, such as hazardous management of the 6 GHz band. Its parental control still works wonders despite the annual donation required to take advantage of it.

Strong points

  • Extensive coverage.
  • ZigBee function included.
  • Complete parental controls.
  • 2.5G RJ45 port.

Weak points

  • Disappointing performance.
  • Limited connectivity.
  • Mandatory application for configuration.
  • Paid parental controls.

NB: The reported price drop is calculated by comparing the lowest price of the day with the average of the lowest prices charged by all merchants for the product last month, with security rules to exclude the prices of stores whose the VAT policy is not clear (so-called “gray” stores, typically in the case of imports from China).

Alternatively

The Mercusys Halo H80X wifi 6 mesh system focuses on the essential: covering a home with efficient wifi. And he is doing it well. So much so that we would have liked to find a 2.5G port to connect it to a box. However, we appreciate the presence of three Gigabit ports per module and its design goes everywhere.
