PARIS, Oct 17 (Reuters) – The electric versions of the Peugeot 408 and 308 will be assembled in Mulhouse (Haut-Rhin), Stellantis chief executive Carlos Tavares said on Monday.
According to the latter, Stellantis will go from 6 to 12 models made in France “in the very short term”.
“We said that Stellantis was going to protect the European and in particular French automotive industry, it is a reality since all our industrial sites now have a future ahead of them which is clear and the technology necessary to face the competition, in particular the competition Chinese that you can see today on this world of Paris”, he declared, at the Paris Motor Show.
