Salzburg State Cup – After a sensational comeback: Kuchl celebrates the title

The Tennengauer were up to the 80th minute against Bischofshofen with 0:2 behind. In the end, Hübl and double goal scorer Simon Seidl brought the first state cup title and the associated ÖFB Cup ticket.

What an endgame! Less than five minutes played, Bischofshofen was already in the lead. After a dead ball, the Kuchlers couldn’t get the ball out, Ojdanic scored with a header to make it 1-0. Until the middle of the first half, the Tennengauer had to nibble at it. After that, a fast-paced game developed in which the Pongauers continued to have the advantages. At the beginning the same picture in the second half: Only a few minutes were played after the break, Kuchler Strobl loses the ball in midfield, Bischofshofen quickly plays two stops to Halenko , who doesn’t give Plainer a chance in goal – 2:0. Cheered on by Bulle Nici Seiwald – who started his career at Kuchl – the Buck crew threw everything forward and were sensationally rewarded for it. The Tennengauer turned the game around within the last ten minutes. Goals from Simon Seidl, Hübl and again Seidl with an art shot turned the game completely upside down and let the enthusiastic Kuchler fans cheer.
