Sam Smith and Christian Cowan were in a relationship for around a year. Now the British pop star and the designer are set to go their separate ways again.

Smith and Cowan were last seen together at a New York party on December 14, 2023, and shortly afterwards they reportedly decided to go their separate ways. “Sam and Christian have decided to end their relationship before Christmas,” a source tells Daily Mail. The reason for the breakup is not yet known.

However, the insider emphasizes that there is no bad blood between the singing talent and the British designer. “They are still friends and will continue to support each other in their respective careers, but for now they have separated.” Sam Smith is now looking ahead. According to the source, the pop star is again active on “Raya”, a dating platform for celebrities, to meet new people.
They met while filming Smith’s music video
Sam Smith and Christian Cowan met while filming the “I’m Not Here to Make Friends” music video in January last year. The designer, whose clientele includes stars such as Lady Gaga, 37, and Jennifer Lopez, 54, was responsible for the costumes. A little later they got together. The vocal prodigy, who has won five Grammys, and Cowan have been spotted together in London, New York and Paris.
It was Sam Smith’s first public relationship after splitting from Dead Girls Don’t Lie actor Brandon Flynn, 30, and after the music star came out as non-binary in 2019.
