Sam: the heroine changes face in season 7 tonight on TF1

TF1 is broadcasting the first episodes of season 7 of “Sam” this Monday evening. A new burst of episodes placed under the sign of change since the heroine changes face and is now played by Hélène de Fougerolles.

After almost two years of waiting, Sam, the craziest professor at PAF, is preparing to make her comeback on television. This Monday, January 8 at 9:10 p.m., TF1 will broadcast the first episodes of season 7.

A new opus which will be placed under the sign of change since, for the second time since the launch of the series in 2016, the heroine will once again change her face.

Sam changes his mind

After having been played by Mathilde Seigner in season 1 then Natacha Lindinger, it is now Hélène de Fougerolles (Balthazar) who will have the difficult task of slipping into the skin of this cash and crazy literature teacher.

A challenge for the actress who will have to make her predecessor forget. “The difficulty did not come from the comparison with other actresses but from the character himself because he is very strong”, explained Hélène de Fougerolles in an interview available on TF1 pro.

Sam has his way of being, of expressing himself, his approach, his codes… It took me around ten days to get into this character. […] On the set, I completely trusted Hippolyte Dard, the director, also a newcomer to the series, and Alexandra London, the artistic producer, who had been there from the start. I let them shape me a little.

Another major change, Barbara Cabrita will not be back in season 7. The actress, who played the character of Félicia, the maths teacher, in season 6, had in fact announced during an interview with Télé Loisirs that she would not reprise her role in future seasons.

An announcement all the more surprising since Félicia had been named director of the school in the finale of season 6. It is moreover this departure which will push Sam to stay at Saint-Paul Le Truchon.

According to the official synopsis, she returns to the village, just two months after her departure, and even though she had sworn never to set foot there again.

But she doesn’t plan to linger, she just has a little problem to solve. Except that she discovers that there is general chaos: the Valadier school is without a director and a teacher is missing.

Between guilt and envy, Sam will stay and defend the school head-on, threatened with closure since Anne-Marie sold it to her nephew, a wealthy and arrogant young entrepreneur.

As he approaches fifty, Sam, who is facing both physical and psychological upheavals, will have difficulty resisting the young man’s sex appeal. But what will happen to her relationship with Laurent, the handsome mayor of the village?

A new suitor for Sam

Amaury de Crayencour, whom viewers saw in César Wagner and Cassandre, will play Maxime, Anne-Marie’s nephew and Sam’s new suitor. Catherine Demaiffe (The Code) will also join the cast in the role of Nathalie.

As for returns, Kevin Dias, who plays Alex, the son of Sam, will also return in season 7 after having been unfaithful to TF1 by joining the cast of seasons 2 and 3 of Emily in Paris for Netflix.

Fred Testot (Xavier), Chantal Ladesou (Anne-Marie), Thierry Neuvic (Laurent), Charlotte Gaccio (Aurélie), Fanny Gilles (Véronique) and Noom Diawara (Damien) will also be present in this new burst of episodes.
