Samse: accounts degraded in 2023


(AOF) – The Samse group’s turnover stands at 1.889 billion euros in 2023, a decrease of 1.2% compared to 2022. The group’s current operating profit (ROC) stands at 104.3 million euros, down 16.8% (i.e. -21.1 million euros) compared to 2022. Operating profit stood at 101.9 million euros, down 23.3 million euros compared to 2022. The net profit of the integrated companies came to 79.3 million euros and decreased by 18.5 million euros (-18.9%).

The group’s share of net income followed essentially the same trend, reaching 76.4 million euros, a decline of 19.4%.

The Board of Directors will propose to the General Meeting of May 23, 2024 a dividend of 10 euros per share. This dividend would be paid from June 24, 2024.

As for its prospects for 2024, Samse does not give any figures. The construction materials distribution group only declares that “the new real estate market, and more specifically that of individual house builders, should continue to decline significantly while the renovation sector seems to remain at a good level of particularly needs significant energy renovation.

“Given a structurally buoyant real estate market, activity should experience a catch-up effect in the years to come,” adds the company.
