Samsung Galaxy M23: 5G and large battery for less than 300 euros
The Samsung Galaxy M23 5G offers the latest mobile communications standard for less than 300 euros.
The Samsung Galaxy M23 5G has a 6.6-inch display with FHD+ resolution on the front. The refresh rate is special: The up to 120 Hertz are noticeable in everyday life with smooth scrolling and gamers are happy about a smooth display. The main camera on the back has 50 megapixels (MP) and is supported by a depth sensor (2 MP) for portrait shots. An ultra-wide-angle lens (8 MP) is also on board. The front camera (8 MP) is installed in the notch on the front. An octa-core processor with 4 gigabytes (GB) of random access memory (RAM) works inside the Galaxy M23 5G. The internal memory is 128 GB and can be expanded by up to 1 terabyte with a memory card. The smartphone runs ex works with Android 12 and One UI 4.0 – up to three new Android versions and security updates for up to four years are included. Support for the 5G mobile communications standard is also new. The battery has a capacity of 5,000 mAh and can be quickly charged with up to 25 watts.
The Samsung Galaxy M23 5G is now available in Germany. Samsung offers it in the colors Deep Green (dark green), Light Blue (light blue) and Orange Copper (orange). The recommended retail price at the start of sales is 289 euros.
Samsung Galaxy M33 5G: competition for the Galaxy A33?
The Samsung Galaxy M33 5G could compete with the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G.
The difference between the Galaxy M23 5G and M33 5G cannot be seen from the front: the display and the front camera (8 MP) have the same values. The Galaxy M33 5G also offers a refresh rate of up to 120 Hertz. In addition to the main camera (50 MP), the depth sensor (2 MP) and the ultra wide-angle lens (8 MP), the Galaxy M33 5G has a macro lens (2 MP) on the back. The octa-core processor inside has access to 6GB of RAM. The internal memory is 128 GB and can be expanded by up to 1 terabyte with a memory card. The Galaxy M33 5G runs ex works with One UI 4.0 – Samsung’s version of Android 12. There are new Android versions for the smartphone for up to three years – security updates should be available for four years. The Galaxy M33 5G can also access the 5G mobile communications standard. The battery offers 5,000 mAh and can be quickly charged with 25 watts. With this equipment, it can beat the Samsung Galaxy A33 5G in some points – at least on paper.
The Samsung Galaxy M33 5G will be released in Germany on April 8, 2022. Samsung offers the following color variants: Khaki Green (green), Dark Blue (dark blue) and Brown (brown). At the start of sales, the recommended retail price is 349 euros.
