Under normal circumstances, Samsung would launch the Samsung Galaxy S22 on February 9, and then move to pre-sale. At the market launch, those who pre-ordered would then receive the cell phone of their choice. However, we are not currently living under normal circumstances.
According to a tweet from the usually reliable insider Jon Prosser, there could be significant delays in the delivery of pre-ordered phones. According to this, Samsung will provide all versions of the Samsung Galaxy S22 after the unpacked event preorder release.
Supply chain issues impact availability
However, some fans will have to be patient for the actual market launch. According to the tweet, the S22 Ultra should be the first in line and will be delivered on February 25th. According to Prosser, those who pre-order the S22 and S22+ should have to wait until March 11th.
The reason for this is the ongoing supply chain problems, which are now also affecting Samsung’s latest flagship. Recently, however, the exact opposite of Prosser’s tweet has been claimed, namely that the S22 Ultra could be delayed and Samsung will focus on the base model.
