More and more information is emerging about the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5. This time there is a new detail about the smartwatch from an “official body”, which Samsung would have preferred to keep secret. Because it is one of the few innovations that the Galaxy Watch 5 will have to offer.
Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 charges faster
One of the biggest drawbacks of Samsung smartwatches is charging speed. The battery life is usually one to a maximum of three days and then there are always those moments when you want to get going soon, for example for sports, but the watch still needs to be charged a little. And that takes what feels like an eternity. Other manufacturers do it better and that’s exactly where Samsung wants to improve. According to the approval authority, the charging speed is noticeably increased instead of the previous 5 watts, since can be charged faster with an output of 10 watts. Whether the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 can really implement the doubling is another question. However, the higher wattage suggests that you can charge noticeably faster, at least in the range between 0 and 80 percent. And that should be enough to be able to reload faster in between.

An insider recently revealed that the design of the Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro will noticeably deteriorate compared to the Galaxy Watch 4 Classic. The frame around the display should be very wide, so the watch just doesn’t look as nice as we are used to from the classic model. This rotating bezel model is being abandoned altogether, leaving you with only two sizes to choose from that all have very similar designs.
