Samsung has announced its new range of televisions, the Neo QLED 2022. In addition to supporting Stadia and GeForce Now, the Korean firm seems to have well thought out the integration of cloud gaming on its products.

Samsung has decided to start the year very strongly at CES 2022 by announcing its Neo QLED 2022 range. And very good news for video game enthusiasts, these televisions will be compatible with the Google Stadia and Nvidia GeForce Now apps, two of the main services. of cloud gaming already present on televisions of competing brands like LG.
Microsoft having announced the arrival of xCloud on connected TVs, we imagine that as soon as it is available, Samsung will also want to offer it on its 2022 line-up.
Good technical arguments
But the presence of cloud gaming apps in a TV store isn’t everything. Technical and software experience must also follow. And given Samsung’s promises for its new panels, the Korean manufacturer seems determined to set the bar very high.
Three elements can demonstrate Samsung’s desire to push cloud gaming on its televisions: the display frequency of its panels, an interface that would give more space to these gaming services and the ease of use of the controllers.
144 Hz
Let’s start with the slab. That of UHD (or 4K) models would offer a display frequency of 144 Hz. On the other hand, it is not yet clear whether Nvidia’s G-Sync will be in the game. AMD’s FreeSync should be supported.
Gaming Bar 2.0
At the interface level, Samsung has also made some efforts in the direction of cloud gaming. Content from GeForce Now or Stadia will be highlighted on the home page of its new Tizen OS, a bit like it is already done with many SVoD services.
Samsung will also offer a Gaming Bar 2.0, although unfortunately we do not have any images or details on it for the time being.
One controller for all devices
