Samsung probably doesn’t listen to customer requests: will the Galaxy S23 be a disappointment?

It will probably be around six months before the new Samsung Galaxy S23 is released. As is usual with such flagship smartphones, the rumor mills are already boiling over. The Korean blog Naver, for example, reports that the manufacturer will not offer a front camera hidden under the display for the next top model either.

As a result, Samsung would again rely on the punch hole in the display, which many smartphone fans hate, in 2023. Naver relies on information from suppliers who have already been informed of the specifications for the components of the S23. It therefore seems very unlikely that anything will change in the relatively short term.

Insider circles say that Samsung does not yet consider the under-display technology to be mature enough for the mass market. This would at least be surprising, since the “invisible” selfie cam was already housed in the Galaxy Z Fold 3.
