Samsung is launching two new entry-level smartphones in France: the Galaxy A25 5G and Galaxy A05s.
Two low-cost mobile models have joined the Samsung catalog on the French market. Here’s what you need to know about the Galaxy A25 5G and Galaxy A05s.
Galaxy A25 5G: a better screen
The Galaxy A25 5G is equipped with a 6.5-inch screen. Unlike its predecessor, the Galaxy A24, it benefits from Samsung’s Super AMOLED technology. It offers a Full HD+ 1080p display and a 120Hz refresh rate, for brightness reaching up to 1,000 nits.
The 5,000 mAh battery ensures significant autonomy, lasting up to two days in typical use, depending on the brand. The smartphone is compatible with a charging power of 25W.
The 50 MP main photo sensor is supported by an optical stabilizer to improve the sharpness of the images. We also have an 8 MP ultra wide-angle module and a 2 MP macro lens.
Samsung promises “4 generations of operating system updates and 5 years of security updates” on this device.
Galaxy A05s: faster charging
The Galaxy A05s also improves its display experience, thanks to a 6.7-inch 90 Hz and 1080p panel. Like the Galaxy A25 5G, it has a fingerprint reader on the edge and a micro SD card slot (up to 1 TB).
The smartphone has a large 5000 mAh battery, with 25W charging, compared to 15W for the Galaxy A04s. The photo setup consists of a 50 MP main sensor, a 2 MP macro lens and 2 MP optics for portraits.
Price and availability
The Galaxy A25 5G is available in midnight blue, blue and lime colors. It costs 319 euros with 128 GB of storage and 379 euros for 256 GB.
The Galaxy A05s comes in black, silver and lime colors, with a single 64 GB storage option priced at 169 euros.
Samsung mentions availability in France from December 11, 2023. But according to our findings, all models are currently out of stock on the official website.
