The Korean brand invites us to its presentation event for the next Galaxy S23, but smartphones shouldn’t be the only ones to share the stage.

Only a few more hours to wait before discovering Samsung’s new products. The brand gives us an appointment this Wednesday 1er February from 7 p.m. (Paris time).

An event to follow live on Wednesday 1er February from 7 p.m.

As usual, Samsung will set up a live stream to follow its presentation in real time. You can go to the manufacturer’s website as well as to YouTube, where the brand’s channel will also offer a broadcast of its event.

The invitation card unveiled by Samsung for several hours makes no secret of the main announcements expected during this Galaxy Unpacked. The company will obviously talk about its latest smartphones and should insist on their photographic prowess.

Samsung Galaxy Unpacked: what to expect from the event?

The stars of this Galaxy Unpacked will undoubtedly be the Samsung Galaxy S23. This year, like the previous year, there will be 3 smartphones, with the Samsung Galaxy S23, the Samsung Galaxy S23+ and its larger screen, and finally, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra which will present itself as the concentrate of innovations from brand this year.

The Galaxy S23 should offer a slightly refreshed design, with the integration of the photo sensors in the body of the device, and no longer placed in a dedicated housing. The smartphone should benefit from a 6.1-inch screen, while the Galaxy S23+ will benefit from a 6.6-inch panel. Both will have an AMOLED screen at 120 Hz and in Full HD. The Galaxy S23 Ultra will benefit from a 6.8-inch screen at 120 Hz and 1440p.

It is this latest model that should take all the light, with its brand new 200 megapixel main photo sensor, a 12 megapixel ultra wide-angle lens as well as two sensors with 3x and 10x optical zoom. The Galaxy S23s should also benefit from an update to their photo block, with a main sensor of 50 megapixels, an ultra-wide-angle of 12 megapixels and a telephoto lens of 10 megapixels.

The three smartphones will finally include a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. They will benefit from at least 256 GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM (12 for the Ultra model, and two versions of 512 GB and 1 TB are also planned).

The final prices remain unknown for the moment, but it is rumored that the Galaxy S23 range will not escape inflation, with a price increase for each model.

Samsung could also take advantage of the event to launch a new range of laptops, the Galaxy Book 3. It will therefore be no less than 5 laptops that would be on stage, namely the Galaxy Book 3, Book 3 360, Book 3 Pro, Book 3 Pro 360, and finally, Book 3 Ultra.

The 360 models would have a screen capable of swiveling, and the other versions would be more traditional in their design. Samsung would offer 14 and 16 inch screens, with definitions up to 1800p and OLED panels for the most efficient (and most expensive) references.

Configurations remain a mystery, but it’s believed the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra, the most advanced in the lineup, will feature an Intel i9-13900H processor, NVIDIA RTX 4070 GPU, 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, in plus a touchscreen compatible with the S-Pen stylus.

This presentation should therefore be dense, and we will meet you this Wednesday 1er February from 7 p.m. (Paris time) on Clubic to discover the latest Samsung news.
