Samsung unveils an edition of its Galaxy Z Flip 4 made with Maison Margelia

After close collaborations with Thom Browne, Dr. Denim and Maison Kitsuné, Samsung continues its forays into the world of fashion by offering a version of its Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 branded Maison Margiela.

For this new flirtation with haute couture, the South Korean company offers a Z Flip 4 in the colors of the Parisian house. Thus, the smartphone is entirely white with the famous 23 digits of which only the 11 is surrounded. A House code indicating that this is a unisex accessory. The shell appears to have been laminated around the edges to let light show through when the Z Flip 4 is on. The term “technical shelled” is also used to describe this unusual design.

To accompany the phone, two shells are included in the box. The first features the Bianchetto aesthetic dear to Maison Margiela. White brush strokes passed in a way reminiscent of strokes of liquid concealer. The second is also entirely white, but this time has a ring allowing you to place your index finger there to better hold the smartphone. Obviously, this ring is stamped with the emblematic figures of the House and four stitchings come to form the logo.

As in previous collaborations, the interface is also in the colors of Maison Margiela, in particular with an X-ray wallpaper allowing a glimpse of the bowels of the Galaxy Z Flip 4.

Without revealing the price, Samsung announces that this special edition will be available in a selection of markets including France. The sale will take place on December 1, 2022.
