Samu Haber has been infected with the corona virus for the second time. He spends the quarantine in his native Finland.

Samu Haber (45) has been infected with the corona virus for the second time. That’s what the Sunrise Avenue frontman did in a blog post on his website communicated. “If I could have chosen the moment to get Covid for the second time, it would have been this week,” the singer wrote. There was “nothing on the calendar that couldn’t be postponed or canceled”. He spends the quarantine about an hour from Helsinki.

Haber is wearing “the same pajama pants and socks from my grandmother for the third day in a row”. The quarantine can be endured well for him. In Helsinki “everything is closed like everywhere else, so I won’t miss anything anyway”. He was “glad to have been vaccinated twice”. “Netflix, candles and the teapot are all I need and the only living souls here are foxes, deer and a few cats,” continues the 45-year-old.

Does the tour operate from Sunrise Avenue?

The musician also talks about the planned farewell tour of Sunrise Avenue. From March to July, the pop rock band is touring Europe. The trucks and buses are ready, the equipment is rented. “Some of us are even ready for a haircut,” jokes Haber. More seriously, he continued, “It would be foolish of me to make any assumptions, but I’ll keep my fingers crossed.” According to the current status, the tour should take place as planned.

Samu Haber was infected with the corona virus for the first time in October 2020. At that time, the tenth season of “The Voice of Germany” was being filmed, in which Haber was seen as a coach. He spent the quarantine in Berlin at the time.
